Director - Nancy Curless
Nancy will work as the point person for the planning and implementation of Chamber plans and priorities, events sponsored by the Chamber and the annual meeting/banquet. Nancy will coordinate the Chamber’s priorities for the week.

Serves as Barton County liaison with the Southwest MO Tourism Alliance, Downtown Association, Community Betterment, Regional Chambers of Commerce and the Lamar Rotary Club.

Serves as facilitator for Barton County Visitor’s Network

Assists Chamber President in planning monthly board meeting agenda and reports

Coordinate distribution of information to appropriate media promoting Chamber activities
Office Manager / Member Services - Joyce Cody
Joyce will assist the director with member services of the Chamber.

Primary responsibility for maintaining membership list and answering typical information requests from Chamber members, community members and visitors

Coordinate membership mailings and other communications to members

Coordinate distribution of information to appropriate media promoting Chamber activities

Business and Tourism Development - John Gulick
John will plan, develop and coordinate annual work plans to:

Assist current Chamber members become more profitable

Assist potential businesses with critical information for basic start-up decisions

Create opportunities for more tourists from outside of BC to slow-down and spend time (and money) in BC
-
Create opportunities to obtain opinions and needs of members
-
Support opportunities for active interaction with high school youth to support their better understanding of economic opportunities in Barton County
-
Support other Chamber activities as requested by Barton County Chamber Board
-
Partner with Southwest Missouri Tourism Alliance, Lamar Downtown Assn., and Barton County Community Development Corporation to achieve mutually beneficial projects
